Zak Bedaida is an Algerian musician who has been writing and producing music for over 15 years. Zak is a multi-instrumentalist. Although his main instrument is Guitar, he plays both western and ethnic instruments, which he uses in his recordings, giving the listener the best of both worlds.
In 2005, with Bass Player Belkacem Lahiani, he formed the band 'HARMONICA' in Algiers, Algeria. Soon after releasing their first Album - 'Bladi', they started taking part in major festivals, and went on to play in Poland, Holland, Malta, China, Soudan, Tunisia, Burkina Faso, and Congo among others.
The first video, IT'S TIME, is a Zak composition which he worked on with my son, Karl. Brilliant song, lyrics and musicianship." The second video, RETURN is a Zak recording." I haven’t been involved in any of his work but he’s a friend and I particularly like “It’s Time” so thought it would do no harm putting his music on my website.
