Steffi has written with some of the most distinguished names in the music business and is now pursuing her solo career. We've decided to share a few covers while we work on her original songs. It's a great way to build a good working relationship which is so important when recording with someone on their own work.
One of the covers, ”Can't Stop Loving You”, was Steffi's most recent cover recording. We also recorded Steffi's vocals for an original song she is writing with Derrek Van Eaton in The States. On the same visit. “True Colours”, was recorded, all in one short evening visit but we still managed to capture Steffi's emotion and passion, which, I feel, is exactly what the lyrics and essence of this track required. Another, “Son Of A Preacher Man”, is one of Steffi's favourites so was an easy choice. Again, Steffi has put her own stamp on it.
Steffi and I are currently working on a new project which I will hopefully be able to tell you more about shortly.
