I started writing South Sea Sam simply to see if I could. It meant writing a story that children would hopefully enjoy, creating and then replicating characters and of course writing some songs. Hopefully someone, somewhere will enjoy it.
Every time it started feeling like ‘work’ I’d stop, often for several months, so it was always fun to do.
I am only going to post some of the songs on this website as the plan is to write a brand new website just for Sam and his friends. I’ll have a go at narrating the story and using the illustrations, music and songs to hopefully give it some life. So, more learning and more fun ahead for me.
