When The Voice Kids contacted me in September 2020 to ask if I knew anyone who would like to take part in the 2021 show I immediately thought of Osian as he had recently sent me two mobile phone videos, singing and playing violin, as part of a virtual video I was working on for Ray Of Light Cancer Support Wales Choir.
So I contacted his mum, Nicky, who along with his two sisters had all taken part in the virtual video and Osian came along to do a recording and video which we submitted.
Osian, 13 at the time, chose a brilliant and difficult song and I was both pleased I had contacted him and also very impressed. Osian was a pleasure to record with and I wish him every success and hope he enjoys the experience.
My son, Osian had such a great time recording with Kevin in his studio. It was the first time that Osian had been into a recording studio and Kevin really put him at ease, explaining how everything worked. He had a wonderful time and came out with a great recording and confidence which has allowed him to go through to the next round of the Voice Kids.
Everything was extremely professional and Kevin really cares about getting the best possible sound and performance.
