We met up in early 2020. It was Faith’s first time in a studio and we quickly got rid of any nerves and got down to the recording. Faith chose Tori Kelly’s version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah (from the movie SING). I had recorded this song many times before but never this version and it was great fun and a great result too.
Look forward to many more recordings with Faith.
“Faith had her very first session at Home Brewed Recordings on the 25th of January 2020. We were made to feel very welcome and Faith was made to feel at ease straight away which is a difficult task for Faith as she gets extremely nervous singing in small gatherings, especially with people she doesn’t know. Kevin was very encouraging and gave Faith some excellent feedback. Her recording was broadcast on Swansea’s Radio Tircoed at Kevin’s request, which boosted her confidence greatly. Faith enjoyed her experience so much that we will be returning to record more songs and perhaps her very own album of covers. Thank you so much Kevin. x x”
