Eva, who was just 10 years old when I first recorded with her, is a truly exceptional young talent and no doubt her appearance in The Snow Spider is just one of many opportunities that lie ahead for her. I know Eva got through to the last round of auditions to play the young Aretha Franklin in the forthcoming movie and based on the one recording we've done so far, her voice alone should take her wherever she chooses.

I appreciate The Snow Spider was probably aimed at a slightly younger audience than my wife and I but we were totally hooked and couldn't wait for the following Sunday's episode. I hope there's going to be another series as Eva and her fellow young actors were absolutely brilliant in this wonderful story of Welsh magic.
