Upside Down are a duet that came together for a competition. Hannah Norman and Chelsea McCrystal Martin, two young friends, both brilliant solo singers who decided to get together and give it a go.
We met up many times in the studio trying different songs, working on their performance, etc. We only recorded one of their many sessions, Lordes “Royals”. They initially sang to the normal backing track which I later removed and wrote my own version to give them something a little bit different to work with.
We always had a laugh as both girls are totally crazy and full of fun. Lovely families too.
