I first met Charley (CJ) when she was just 11 years old and invited her and her mum, Sally, to the studio. We had a lot of fun, became good friends and also managed to get some recording done in between the stories and the laughs. Such an amazing talent and a truly polite and quite adorable young lady with a great future ahead of her.
Charley won a local singing competition and has performed at a variety of events. Then in 2019 Charley entered ITV's The Voice Kids and progressed through to the "Battle Round" in Jessie J's team. She made many great friends there and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of that experience. Charley's been back to the studio for more recordings and we are now working on original songs together.
Charley is also a student of vocal coach Tanya Harrison.
"When we arrived on my first visit in 2017 my initial thought was WOW I loved the design and feel of the studio and we chatted and laughed a lot ...Kevin was really cool and we set to work, well I say work, it was so much fun. I had a brilliant time. Singing is my life and being on stage is what I'm used to, so the studio was teaching me a different approach, and a new experience - I loved it!! Just want to say I was in total awe of the work Kevin was doing after the recording was done. As I did my own backing vocals too I was amazed and so impressed to see how he put it all together. Would just like to take this opportunity to say that myself & my mum Sally loved working with Kevin & his studio was fantastic. The result was amazing.
